Steve Clarke has been heavily linked to the vacant Scotland manager’s job

Steve Clarke has been named Scottish Premiership Manager of the Season with Kilmarnock.

Clarke, who has also won the PFA Scotland and Scottish Football Writers’ Manager of the Season awards, has been heavily linked to the vacant Scotland manager’s job.

Kilmarnock assistant manager Alex Dyer has admitted that Clarke would find it hard to turn the offer down, if the SFA opted to approach him.

He was believed to be on a three-man shortlist with Aberdeen’s Derek McInnes and Scotland U21’s Scot Gemmill, but McInnes ruled himself out of the running on Friday.
